BETT 2022: Introducing Cricut
We look at one of our brand partners Cricut who will be joining us on stand SH41 at the BETT Show.
Speaking with Joanne Rickwood the UK Sales Executive at Cricut.
What do Cricut do?
From cutting machines to crafting materials, Cricut products make it easy to create for fun, for friends & family, or even for the classroom.
We always look at how to innovate and improve our products, be that the machines, the materials or the software; but it is seeing all the exciting and inspiring creations that motivates us. We love to see what Members are making, whether they are using the ready to make projects available in Design Space or creating from scratch.
Why do educators love using Cricut resources?
We’ve been talking to teachers and finding out how they are using Cricut. It ranges from creating signage or role play materials in early years to brining enterprise students’ projects to life in college.
The common theme we keep hearing is how fun and straight forward it is to use. Even as a beginner you know you will get quality professional looking results.
The other is how quickly the interest spreads. One teacher told us as soon as she started making things for her classroom the rest of her team were asking her to do the same for their classrooms.
What do you love about working with Cricut?
I love working for Cricut as it is a forward thinking creative platform that people are still discovering today.
The number of project possibilities are endless and I am inspired every day in seeing what Members are creating and how it improves their lives. The UK Cricut team are passionate and uplifting which helps me to fulfil my role and be the best that I can be.
I love using my Cricut to create embellishments for my young son’s bedroom. Being able to design and create learning cues for him has been so rewarding; having letters and numbers on his wall to help learn and develop in colours of vinyl he likes is magic.
