Impacting 2000 Students from 60 Schools
After 12 months of planning, CreativeHUT are incredibly proud to announce we will be partnering with Everton In The Community to help launch their E-STEAM programme.
The programme will provide STEM resources and creative learning to around 2,000 children, aged 5 to 16-years-old, from 63 schools across Merseyside, providing the development of key 21st-century skills required for exciting careers in Science, Technology and Engineering.
This will be delivered from a state of the art digital skills lab situated in the Liverpool 4 region. We have been working closely with the amazing team at EITC over the last year and have forged an amazing partnership over our shared goal of providing educational opportunities for all. Our responsibilities will include designing the lab, provision of resources, programme development and staff training.
This is an exceptionally proud moment for CreativeHUT as we are honoured to be part of a project of this magnitude and are hugely committed to reducing the current STEM skills gap by preparing more students for exciting careers.
The program will focus on tackling the technology learning gap for children in Merseyside by providing resources to underprivileged students in the region. We couldn’t be happier to be supporting EITC on this journey as we have witnessed first hand the impact cutting edge STEAM resources and training will have on building confidence for both students and teachers.
The passion for football in the local area is unparalleled. Combine this with robotics and we believe schools will have the tools to engage and inspire young people from disadvantaged areas and transform the way children learn about technology.
The world we know is evolving, the need for 21st-century skills is something we know the education sector is striving for in preparation for the jobs of tomorrow (this was highlighted in a report by the World Economic Forum of Future Jobs).
CreativeHUT and EITC want to provide the chance for the leaders of tomorrow by allowing children to learn, create and invent through coding, science, music and the arts. Did we mention just how excited we are to get going?
We will be sure to keep you updated on the successes of this moving forward and are really proud to be part of it!
