“There are no words that can express my appreciation for what this programme has done for the children involved.”
Neil Corrigan, Team Coach.
The three key elements within our 12 session competition are:
Robot Game- Each of the 5 teams will be responsible for the design and programming of either a LEGO SPIKE Prime or MINDSTORMS robot. Their robots will then be put to the test, completing missions with the goal of scoring more points than the other teams
Innovation Project- Each team will research and explore ideas surrounding this years’ theme. After identifying a problem specific to the theme, they will then present their solution to industry professionals.
Demonstration of FIRST LEGO League Core Values- With an overall goal of being respectful and having fun, these values involve inclusion, innovation and teamwork.
““It is for me without doubt of huge value to UK and Irish education. I often tell students that there are days that stay with you as long as you live. IET FIRST LEGO League keeps supplying our team with those, so thank you for that.”
Neil Corrigan
